           Abraham Lincoln once said,"The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time." This means that people have time to observe situations so they can make good decisions. This quote is correct because it takes time to get everything perfect or the future. This can be seen when an individual is having a hard time and want the future to come sooner. He or she wants the future to come fast so they can pass the moment they are in. In the book, "dirty little secrets" by C. J. Omololu, Lucy can't wait till time passes, she always wants to be away from her mean old mother! Lucy has another day to improve the relationship with her mother, another day to be away from her, another day to feel stressed about her situation.
